Billabong Poly Cotton Dome Swags
We currently have a surplus of the Burke and Wills Billabong dome swags in the NEW poly-cotton material. The difference between the poly-cotton and the 100% cotton is breathability vs waterproofness. The 100% cotton breathes better during the heat, however during heavy rain can become saturated and leak some water. The advantage of the poly-cotton, aside from the fact that it is lighter, is that it has much better wet weather capabilities. During the heat both versions of the swag can have the top zipped down to expose the mozzie netting. As a personal preference I prefer the poly cotton. As a side note the Oztrail Mitchell is also made from a poly cotton material.
